Michelle Weaver

Michelle Weaver is the Owner/Director of Voc Ed Learning Group (VELG), which she established in 2003 to create professional development and consulting services for vocational education and training (VET) staff working in registered training organisations (RTOs).She is a specialist VET quality management and auditing consultant in the area of AQTF (Australian Quality Training Framework). Michelle is a registered Queensland teacher and holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. She also holds a Bachelor of Education (Secondary) and a Graduate Diploma in Education (Leadership and Management). She has more than 12 years experience in VET teaching in Queensland.

John Dwyer

John Dwyer

John Dwyer is VELG's AQTF consultant with an experience in education spanning more than 40 years. He brings extensive RTO experience to VELG, having a comprehensive history in developing and delivering a range of workshops on assessment tools, recognition of prior learning (RPL), moderation and validation processes relating to AQTF compliance. Previously, John was the Manager of the Competency Assessment and Development Services of the Global Institute for Learning and Development (gild). John was also a pre-qualified AQTF consultant, registered with Queensland's Department of Education and Training.

John Price

John Price

John Price is an AQTF consultant who has a trade background in the Printing and Graphic Arts Industry. He jointly set up Australia's first private provider of high technology training for the printing industry. John now runs his own Quality Management consultancy and has worked with nearly 150 businesses around Australia to help them develop ISO and ARF/QERTO/AQTF Quality Management systems. He assisted QLD DET to 'roll-out' the new AQTF 2007 standards through workshops. His consultancy also conducts a range of training programs in continuous improvement, team building, leadership and developing/managing AQTF systems.

Shane Cassidy

Shane Cassidy

Shane Cassidy has been involved in VET for the last two decades. He has been a trainer, senior instructor, qualified assessor, training designer, training manager and an operations manager of an RTO. Now Shane uses his knowledge and skills to assist organisations achieve their business goals. Shane understands the machinations that an RTO must undertake to maintain compliance and excellence. Shane is currently the owner and Principal Consultant of his own consultancy business based in Sydney. Shane is a member of the Australian Institute of Training and Development.

Tamara Simon

Tamara Simon

Tamara Simon helps organisations to capture knowledge in the 'heads' of business owners and their team so they run on auto-pilot as well as become more sustainable. A business systems specialist, Tamara has been providing organisations with simple and practical solutions which put the detail back into the business. With a background in change management, organisational development and VET, Tamara has more than a decade of experience in business development across private, public and not-for-profit organisations.

 Richard Turner

Richard Turner

Richard Turner's goal is to coach and empower clients to achieve an independent business culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Ongoing viability and sustained growth for clients are foremost in Richard's business philosophy. Richard has a three-decade background in VET, RTO management and risk management. He owned and managed his RTO for more than 10 years and is now Managing Director of one of Australia's foremost RTO consultancy services. 

Angela McGregor-Goodwin

Angela McGregor-Goodwin

Angela McGregor-Goodwin has extensive experience in the VET sector and operates her own RTO. Over the past 10 years, Angela has been providing consultancy principally to teachers, trainers and RTOs specialising in compliance and the design and conduct of training and assessment. As a practitioner dedicated to sharing knowledge, Angela has consulted through many forums pertaining to compliance issues and improvement strategies for training and assessment services.

Maciek Fibrich

Maciek Fibrich

Maciek Fibrich has been working as a consultant in the VET sector for more than a decade, focusing on the development of training within RTOs. A qualified trainer, assessor and auditor, Maciek provides consultancy, professional development, coaching and support to RTOs specialising in compliance, business development, staff development and management issues and solutions. Maciek has also helped more than 30 organisations become a RTO. As a certified Lead Auditor, Maciek has professional membership with the Australian Institute of Training and Development, the Institute of Learning and Development and the Vocational Education and Training Industry Group.

Andrew Schofield

Andrew Schofield

Andrew Schofield has been consulting, training and auditing both nationally and internationally for more than 15 years. He specialises in the development, implementation and auditing of management systems to Standards including ISO9001 for Quality, ISO 14001 for Environment and the AQTF and CRICOS requirements in VET. As a Lead Auditor of both Environmental and Quality Management Systems, Andrew has performed audits for clients in industry sectors such as mining, telecommunications, printing and packaging and public utilities. He has also performed more than 300 audits of RTOs and Group Training Organisations since 2002. Andrew is also the director of his own Sydney-based RTO, with extensive experience in the design and delivery of training programs. 

Cherie Rudzitis

Cherie Rudzitis

Cherie Rudzitis has been involved in VET for more than a decade, with extensive experience in managing Industry Training Advisory Boards (ITABs) and related business areas. She has provided technical advice on registration and audits to Qld DET. Cherie has extensive experience in establishing relationships with industry stakeholders and ensuring the delivery, assessment, qualifications and experience of the trainers meet the requirements identified by industry.

Narelle Duncan

Narelle Duncan

Narelle Duncan is a registered lead auditor with RABQSA. She has been involved in the VET sector since 1998 in a range of capacities including senior auditor, quality systems review officer, business manager and RTO manager for both public and private sector organisations. Narelle holds Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Diploma of Training and Assessment as well as a statement of attainment for the Diploma of Quality Auditing. Narelle has established her own RTO in Queensland and has accredited a course through Qld DET to assist intending providers establish the underpinning knowledge and skills required to become an RTO.
